Extensive personal study has tempered her skill with unique interpretation and depth of feeling. She has performed for both public and private venues, including clubs, cafes and restaurants, hotels, birthday parties, business luncheons, holiday parties, baby showers, a number of annual festivals (some of which include the Savannah International Festival, the Tybee Island Pirate Festival, Savannah Pagan Pride Day), and more. Scarlett provides a unique and memorable twist to any event! Scarlett offers a variety of talents and techniques, including veil dances, performances with zills, the Isis Wings, basket dances, cane dances (Raks al Assayah) and sword dances (Raks al Saif). The favorite among audiences is perhaps her acclaimed fire dance. Keep an eye out for her upcoming renditions of Raks al Shamadan and the Moroccan Tea Tray Dance, Raks al Senniya. Scarlett is the leader of local creative bellydance cooperative Mei'attah Raqs, which presents Eastern, Tribal, and Fusion styled performances. |
